I found out about Felicia Day from Dr. Horrible's Sing-A-Long Blog. That's what pointed me toward her web series called The Guild, a funny look at MMORPGers. I've been hooked ever since, though I'm behind on the latest season (#3). Whether you've played an online game before or not, you might have fun watching the series. And now this week, their new comic book comes out. I plan to pick it up sometime this summer.
Check out the new trailer for the comic book. Then go watch some of the webseries. :D

They're on their 4th season. And you can watch them for free on their website, http://www.watchtheguild.com/
I love this web series. Wil Wheaton was awesome in season 3 and 4.
Huh, I missed seeing that about the 4th season. I AM behind. I've just been watching them on Youtube.
I just discovered this series (thank you, Netflix!!), and even thought I've never done online gaming, a lot of it translates well to my memories of old-school RPG's.
And I have also joined the ranks of geeks (I wear my badge proudly) wondering why women like Felicia Day never enter my life...
*heavy sigh*
You always introduce me to new things. That trailer was so cool and made me laugh with the way the characters recreated themselves. Made me wonder how I would recreate myself if I could.

I didn't get into gaming until a few years ago, but someone sent me the video "Do You Want to Date my Avatar?" by The Guild and I LOVED it. I bought the video on my iPod, the only video I've bought on it! I had no idea there was a whole series! THANK YOU!!!
Glad you liked it, Jai. The reinventing myself thing is part of what I love about gaming. It actually helped me build confidence outside of gaming.
And welcome, David! Bwahahahaha! I've snared another fan. Hope you have fun watching the videos.
